"This terminal or user id is not permitted to process this transaction" Converge/Elavon error

If you are receiving the error below when trying to use an Converge/Elavon account. 


Please check the following settings: 
1) Verify that Tokenization is enabled for your terminal. To check this please click on the Settings tab on the left side menu in your Converge dashboard then click on the Terminal Information option on that page. Finally scroll to the bottom of the page to the Other Options section and verify that Tokenization is Enabled. This section should look similar to the one below. If it is not enabled please contact Converge so that they can enable Tokenization and try to process a payment on Full Frame again. 


2) Check that the User Permissions are enabled. To verify that User Permission are enabled click on the Employees tab on the left navigation bar in your Converge dashboard. Click on the View Details link for the Employee ID you are trying to use with Full Frame. Next click on the User Rights tab on the page. Finally verify that all permissions are enabled, an easy way to do this is to use the Default Selection Options dropdown at the top and selecting the Administrator option. Lastly don't forget to click the Save button. 

These are the 2 most common problems that will generate a permissions error like the one above. If neither of these solve the issue at hand please contact Converge support as they may be able to give you more insight into what may be causing the problem.
