How to import clients from V1 to V2
Requirements:
- V1 Admin Login Credentials
- Admin Portal URL
Some important things to note before beginning:
- Once the import process begins you cannot cancel the process
- Importing clients is based on the client's email address. This means that if a client already exists with that email address in V2 then the client information will not be imported nor overwritten
- If after being imported, the Client's E-mail is changed, importing again will bring over the client from V1 again
To begin the import process navigate to the client list using the left side navigation menu. Once in the client list view click on the Import from V1 button in the top right as shown below.
A new modal window will appear. Here you will put the admin email, password, and admin portal URL into the fields respectively as seen below.
Once the correct information is in the fields click the Import button to begin the process. This may take some time depending on how large your V1 client list is however you can just keep it running in the background.
